Do you Facebook's Pages Manager app on your smartphone? The app is a great way to manage your business' Facebook page when you're on the go. It also gives you the ability to manage multiple Pages, which is great if you're an agency that manages many different Pages for clients.

Recently, Facebook completely redesigned the app, giving it an updated look and easy to use navigation. The new design is available for iOs and Android users and is free in the App Store. Here are a few things you should know about the app:

A new icon. Facebook updated the app's icon to have a white background with an orange flag instead of the old Facebook blue background.

Timeline view. When you first open the app, you will see a view of your Page's Timeline. This can also be accessed by clicking the first icon on the bottom toolbar. From the Timeline, you can see your total Page likes, invite friends to like your Page, see posts that others have made on the Page, and see your most recent post.

Notifications. The second icon on the bottom toolbar will show you notifications of who has commented, liked and/or shared your most recent posts.

Create new posts. The Pages Manager app makes it easy to create posts from your mobile device. Located in the center of the bottom toolbar, the Create Post icon will allow you to write a text update, share a photo or video, or create an event.

Insights. This feature is great if you're interested in knowing who has seen your posts and how many people have engaged with them. Facebook has made it easy to view all of this information from your smartphone, although you can only view stats from the last week. For a more detailed look into your Insights, you will have to access the admin panel of your business's Facebook page from  a computer.

Switch between Pages. In the top right hand corner, there is an icon that allows you to switch to another Page you manage. This is extremely helpful if you manage more than one Facebook Page, because you don't need to log in and out to access different accounts. They're all located in one spot!

What do you think of the new design? Do you like it better? If you've never used the Pages Manager app before, would you consider giving it a try?
